Day 8

This weekend surprised me in a lot of ways I didn’t expect, firstly, I had very low expectations. I mean, it doesn’t sound all that appealing on paper and in all honesty I somewhat dreaded it, but I’m so glad I went. I got to talk with a lot of people I don’t talk with, that includes people at camp and also those living at the homeless shelter. And beyond doing great things for great people, I also enjoyed myself. The beach was absolutely incredible and will for sure be something I won’t forget, and the jokes and conversations I had with everyone are also things I won’t forget. As a mini recap of yesterday (since right now it’s the day after but that doesn’t matter blah blah) we woke up at 6:30 ish, helped at gleaners, went shopping, bowled, and ate dinner with everyone in our group. It was a super great day of chopping onions to help people, and also indulging in ourselves. Bowling was great, but I’m not great, but that doesn’t change the fact I had fun. Anyways, this is getting long and I don’t know how to end it, but I had a lot of fun this week and it’s something that I don’t regret even a little bit anyway bye.
