Student Dress Code

Student Dress Code

Our students are expected to dress in an appropriate manner for the learning environment. Our dress code guidelines are based on modesty, appropriateness, neatness and cleanliness.

Clothing, appearance and styles are to be modest and not cause a distraction.

We ask that students wear shirts that cover their torso to the edge of the shoulder (muscle shirts and spaghetti straps are not permitted) and to ensure their stomachs are fully covered. Underwear (including boxers, bras, etc.) should not be visible.

The length of shorts, skirts and dresses worn by students in grades 4-9 should be no shorter than mid-thigh.

Clothing with graphics or slogans should be in good taste and not detract from the learning environment.

A brief check before students leave home, will avoid the necessity of having to contact parents to bring a change of clothes.
